At The New Harp Inn, we pride ourselves on high quality, freshly prepared foods for locals, visitors and travellers. We prepare meals to scintillate the senses, to feed famished families and never forget a drinking bowl for well-behaved dogs. From Sunday lunch to afternoon tea we believe in great food and are happiest when our customers are well-fed, well-watered and content.

We are proud of the quality of our freshly prepared, delicious, mouth-watering, taste-bud tingling home-cooked dishes. Nearly all our ingredients are sourced from suppliers within 20 miles so we can guarantee the freshness and quality of everything in our kitchen. We take pride in personally sourcing where all our food and drink comes from, field to fork. We have trusted and loyal partnerships with all our suppliers, many of whom are friends, and can guarantee the freshness and quality of everything that comes into The Harp.

We have something special for everyone, tailored just for you, whether you are local or looking for a destination food-led venue. Whether you’re looking for a night out, to dine multiple times while on holiday or just can’t be bothered to cook we cater to varied tastes.

Our food is locally sourced, high quality and freshly prepared with the seasonal flavours of Herefordshire. We prepare real home-cooked food for real people. Our meals are carefully prepared on-site by our energetic and enthusiastic chefs who love foraging for wild garlic and mushrooms and to flavour your food with the herbs grown in our own kitchen garden.

Desserts

Both our chefs are highly talented patisserie chefs. All our desserts are produced in-house whether it is our signature sticky toffee pudding, mars bar cheesecake, gluten-free chocolate and hazelnut torte or vegan chocolate and cherry cheesecake.

Our ice-creams are gluten-free and nut-free, and with notice, we can even produce vegan ice cream.

People like the comfort of a relaxed, easy-going, no-fuss night out with friends or family so we ensure our regular favourites are always available.

Our chefs are enthusiastic about our food and drink and are constantly trying to create new dishes, so there is always something new to try.

Both have worked extensively for many years in corporate hospitality, collecting plaudits on the way, and can do the simplest of sizzling steaks to fresh fish to perfection.

The New Harp Inn are the perfect choice for group lunches or nights out. Individual tastes and dietary requirements are also accommodated by us in the comfort of our rustic pub. No debates needed, just a home-cooked meal served by welcoming staff.

Something for everyone

Vegetarians, vegans and gluten intolerant will all find plenty of choice on our regular menu. With everything sourced locally and freshly prepared on-site you can rest easy as we can carefully talk you through any allergy or dietary requirements. Most of our meals are gluten-free as being freshly prepared there is no need for gluten-based coatings or dustings. We will be pleased to listen to your concerns and advise you on what is best for you from our mouth-watering menu or produce something bespoke for you.
